Who We Are
Baker's House is a youth-centered nonprofit dedicated to supporting the growth, confidence, and future aspirations of girls — particularly immigrant girls and girls of color.
Through mentorship, life skills training, and creative learning, we provide an environment where girls build confidence, explore career pathways, and develop leadership skills.
"Every girl deserves a safe place where she is known, loved, and equipped to thrive."Our Mandate
Our Mandate
Baker's House exists to walk alongside girls, particularly Black immigrant girls and girls of color, through the seasons of growing up that can feel isolating, confusing, and overlooked.
We provide a safe, nurturing space where girls are seen, celebrated, and challenged to become the best version of themselves — grounded in Christian values and proud of who they are.
Connecting girls with women who look like them and have walked the road ahead.
Practical tools for navigating school, relationships, finances, and the future.
Building real tech skills — coding, AI, and digital tools — so girls are ready to lead in industries shaping tomorrow.
Age-appropriate sexual health education and social-emotional learning.
Experiences that spark curiosity, self-expression, and joy.
Building the next generation of bold, servant-hearted leaders.

Meet Our Executive Director
Dr. Tosin Adebayo
Executive Director · Nigerian Immigrant · College Professor
Dr. Tosin Adebayo knows firsthand what it means to navigate growing up far from home. As a Nigerian immigrant and a college professor, she understands the unique challenges girls of color face — the longing to belong, the silence of being unseen, and the strength it takes to keep going.
Moved by the Holy Spirit and shaped by her own journey, Dr. Adebayo founded Baker's House with one conviction: every girl deserves a safe place where she is known, loved, and equipped to thrive. Her life's work is making sure no girl walks that road alone.

Baker's House gave me a place where I finally felt like I belonged. I came as a shy girl who barely spoke, and I left knowing my voice matters.
Watching my daughter come alive through this program has been one of the greatest gifts. She is confident, grounded, and on fire for God.
The mentorship I received at Baker's House helped me choose a career path I never thought possible. Dr. Adebayo believed in me before I believed in myself.
